Clinical research skills include: oropharyngeal assessment, sensory assessments, videofluoroscopy, biofeedback, breathing-swallowing coordination testing, manometry, electromyography, pharyngeal electrical stimulation, oral stimulation, transcranial magnetic stimulation, functional magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy, pulmonary function testing, palatography, speech and language assessments.
Clinical trials experience include: design, applying for ethical approval, patient recruitment, data collection and analysis, observational, randomized controlled clinical trials, managing trial steering group and team meetings, public and patient involvement meetings and showcases.
Statistics and data analysis skills include: advanced statistical techniques such as factor analysis, cluster analysis. Videofluoroscopic and manometric data analysis, SPM8, Signal Software, Chart for Powerlab
Supervisory roles:  training and supervision of  MSc students, co-supervision of medical undergraduates for research projects, consultation for industrial projects, mentoring of PhD students.
