Personal profile

Overview

I am a health economist with a strong analytical background, and experience in using large, routinely collected data, conducting economic evaluations alongside clinical trials and performing systematic reviews.

Recently, I have worked on the multi-disciplinary, DIPLOMA project, which sought to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme. Within this role, I conducted analyses to explore the population-level effect of the programme, looked at the impact of incentives on GP recruitment and developed a decision-analytic model to evaluate the long-term cost-effectiveness of the programme.

I also have strong research interests in the transparency and reproducibility of decision-analytic models used in health economic research. In 2024, I completed a part-time PhD from the University of East Anglia, exploring the value of replication in health economic decision models. As a part of this, I have received research funding from CLAHRC East of England (now ARC) to evaluate the reproducibility of decision models through a systematic review and replication study, published in Value in Health.
