Personal profile
Biography
I am a PhD candidate in Politics at the University of Manchester. Before joining Manchester, I obtained an MSc in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in Translation and Interpretation from Shandong University (China).
My research interests span across China's political economy, global capitalism, emerging markets, and globalisation. My PhD primarily examines the significance of Chinese outbound capital in addressing domestic contradictions of capitalism, promoting China's global integration, and reshaping the capitalist world system.
I am a visiting PhD student at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the National University of Singapore from January 15 to June 30, 2024. I am the convenor of the Early Career Researcher Workshops at the Manchester China Institute since autumn 2023.
