Gaurav's research contributes to a sustainable built environment by developing cement and concrete by using waste materials. In his work, he focuses on the use of waste materials such as recycled coarse aggregate, waste glass, and sustainable cementitious materials. Within these topics, the micro-chemical analysis is conducted at the macro and micro levels using different experimental tools. He also works part-time as a Graduate teaching assistant in the department of Mechanical Aerospace and Civil Engineering.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
