Research interests

My research in astronomy is primarily focused on interstellar dust and star formation in nerarby galaxies.  My current research activities include the following:

  • Studies of the radio-to-submillimetre spectral energy distributions of nearby and distant galaxies
  • Comparisons of multiwavelength star formation tracers
  • Measurement of star formation rates and electron temperatures using millimetre recombination line and free-free emission

 

My research in autism is primarily focused on understanding sensory processing.  My current topics of research include the following:

  • Studying of listening difficulties among autistic individuals
  • Identification of autistic individuals' responsivities to temperature
