Overview

Georgia is currently a research associate in the Department of Social Statistics working on data from the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing. Her research interests include social and health inequalities and advanced quantitative methods. Before this project, she was a research associate in the Manchester Centre for Health Economics in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine, and Health. Georgia completed her Ph.D. in the Department of Social Statistics where she focused on missing biomarker data and social inequalities in health. She has an MSc in Health and Society: Social Epidemiology from UCL, London, and an MSc in Health Promotion and Education from the Medical School of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Her background is in Public Health.

Georgia is a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and a member of the Society for Social Medicine and Population Health.
