Overview

I’m a historian of 20th century Latin America. My current research interests include the early evolution of central banks in Latin America , central bank cooperation during the interwar years and the development of national credit policies in Latin American countries.

Before joining Manchester, I was research associate at the University of Geneva and I held teaching and research positions at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (2018-2020).
