Overview

My current role comprises general and PRINCE2 project management of the MASTERPLANS project.  MASTERPLANS is a Medical Research Council-funded stratified medicine project with 20 academic and industrial partner organisations and a Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) group.  MASTERPLANS aims toidentify biomarkers that will assist in identifying which patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus will do well or less well on certain drugs.

In previous projects in Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, I was project manager for a group of related projects developing a common national dataset (CAPTURE-JIA) for clinical, research and national audit.

Teaching

I am a mentor on the Manchester Gold mentoring scheme and provide informal staff development on project management, including PRINCE2.
