Biography
Giselle Bate is a Lecturer in Marketing at the Alliance Manchester Business School. Giselle completed a BA (Hons) in Marketing at the University of Strathclyde in 1993, and then gained industry experience working for Random House and Stena Line. In 2005, Giselle completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Manchester Metropolitan University, where she taught Marketing at the Manchester Metropolitan Business School until 2019. In 2013, Giselle completed a Masters in Research (MRes) at the Alliance Manchester Business School, where she then completed a PhD in 2018, sponsored by the Economic Social Research Council (ESRC) and a President’s Doctoral Scholar Award.
