Research interests

My research interests include sustainable urban development, urban regeneration, regional development, and water conflicts. I am currently working on projects relating to flood risk management, interest groups in planning, environmental controversies and the uneven impacts of austerity policies.

I am happy to talk to potential students interested in undertaking research degrees.  I have supervised 23 post graduate research students through to successful completion.
