Supervision areas:

I offer supervision to graduate students on the philosophy of language, especially philosophical semantics focused on: indexicals, expressives and slurs, semantic relativism. I also offer supervision on History of Analytic Philosophy, especially Russell.

Biography

Before coming to Manchester, Graham completed a PhD and taught in the Philosophy department at the University of Southampton

Research interests

Specific research interests:

Philosophy of language, race and gender, history of analytic philosophy, especially Russell.

Current research projects:

I am currently working on issues surrounding the semantics of indexicals, slurs, and expressions of taste. I am also working more generally on the topic of politically significant language, and on figurative language.
