Overview

Grigory Pishchulov is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, and a former Programme Director for the BSc Information Technology Management for Business at the Alliance Manchester Business School of the University of Manchester.

Grigory obtained his PhD in Operations Management from the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder), Germany. His research and postgraduate supervision focus on supply chain coordination and contracting, sustainable supply chain management, supplier selection, data analytics, inventory management, and use of digital platforms for supply chain collaboration. Outcomes of his research have been published in leading journals, such as the European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Annals of Operations Research, Omega: The International Journal of Management Science, Journal of World Business, and others.

Grigory has been part of several research projects funded by various funding bodies, among others the German Federal Government, the Leverhulme Trust, and ESRC. He was awarded a Leverhulme Trust Visiting Fellowship at the Manchester Metropolitan University in 2010 and has worked as Research Fellow in Smart Manufacturing at the Alliance Manchester Business School from 2017–2019.

He has coordinated and taught a broad range of subjects at different levels at the Alliance Manchester Business School and other institutions, such as the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) and University of Dortmund, Germany.
