Guowei Huang

Guowei Huang is currently a Ph.D.  candidate at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS), University of Manchester, where he was awarded a fully funded AMBS Ph.D. Scholarship. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science (AI) with Distinction, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Management with First Class Honors. He is also in Data and Methods Exploration Group. 

His research primarily focuses on the application of Deep Learning (DL) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) within the business domain. Before joining AMBS, he completed a two-year Master's program in Computer Science with AI, consisting of one year of coursework and one year of research, at the University of Nottingham, UK. During his second year at Nottingham, his research centered around predicting stock prices based on social media data using DL and NLP techniques, supervised by Professor Jonathan Garibaldi (IEEE Fellow, Nottingham) and Dr. Giannis Haralabopoulos (Reading).
