Guowei Huang

Guowei Huang currently is a PhD student at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS), University of Manchester. He got AMBS fully funded PhD Scholarship to join AMBS. He holds a MSc Computer Science(AI) and a BA(Hons) Business Management.

His research is mainly about applying Machine Learning(ML) and Natural Language Processes(NLP) to the business field. Prior join AMBS, he got his MSc in Computer Science with AI (2 years, 1 year taught + 1 year research) at the University of Nottingham, UK.  During his second year at Nottingham, his research was about predicting the stock price based on social media using NLP and ML under the supervision of Professor Jonathan Garibaldi (IEEE Fellow).
