Accepting PhD Students

PhD projects

Our Novel Accelerator Group accepts applications who are interested in advanced particle acceleration including high-intensity laser-plasma accelerators, relativistic beam driven plasma wakefield accelerators, laser and particle beam driven dielectric wakefield acceleration and development of novel radiation sources.

Students can access to various funding schemes such as from STFC, EPSRC, Manchester President Doctoral Scholarships (PDS), Dean's Scholarships and Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC).
