Harriet is an NIHR Pre-Doctoral fellow based in the Health Organisation, Policy, and Economics (HOPE) research group.
Biography
Harriet obtained a first class honours degree in Economics from the University of Manchester in 2023 and is currently studying for a Master's degree in Economics.
Harriet first joined HOPE in 2023 as an intern. The internship was hosted by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) Greater Manchester. During the internship, she examined the determinants of quality ratings in the public and independent hospital sectors, applying this to the current policy issue of NHS outsourcing.
Following the internship, Harriet became a Research Assistant in health economics, where she worked on the preparation for the 2024 National GP Worklife Survey.
