My main interest is in the politics of knowledge production within and for education policy. I work with social and political theories of power, particularly in regard to the study of educational leadership. I have led and participated in a range of ESRC and BA funded projects regarding this focus, with a range of monographs being produced.
I am co-convenor of the European network: LE@DS - Leading Education and Democratic Schools.
Main teaching interests:
My main area of teaching is with in-service educational professionals who wish to undertake masters and doctoral degrees in the area of education policy, leadership and management.
