Biography

I worked in the NHS and across HEIs for 16 years. I have a background in clinical health psychology and an interest in novel psychosocial interventions. In recent years I have developed a personal and professional interest in tackling health inequalties and women's healthcare. 

I am currenlty completing a part-time PhD in Health Psychology investigating - "Improving the equality of access to National Breast Screening Programmes for ethnic minority women". My supervisory team are Professor David French, Dr Omolade Femi-Ajao and Dr Gillian Hutchison. I recently made the move in to academia and ideally want to work as a Research Psychologist/ Lecturer. I also work part-time as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton.

CaFI: Culturally adapted Family Intervention (Chief Investigator, Professor Dawn Edge).

PACT-G: The Paediatric Autism Communication Trial – Generalised (Chief Investigator, Professor Jonathan Green).

PATHWAY: Improving the effectiveness of psychological interventions for depression and anxiety in the cardiac rehabilitation pathway (Chief Investigator, Professor Adrian Wells).

FIAT: Financial Incentives to improve Adherence to Treatment (Chief Investigator, Professor Stefan Preibe).
