Overview

I am a Teaching and Scholarship Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Manchester. My background is in applied mathematics, in which I hold a PhD from the University of Manchester. 

Teaching

I am currently a lecturer on the foundation year module MATH19842 Mathematics 4 0F2 and the first year actuarial science module MATH11911 Foundations of finance: Investments and the time and value of money.

I supervise undergraduate projects on mathematics education and on the mathematical modelling of pollutant dispersion.

I am an admissions tutor in mathematics on the undergraduate admissions team. 

I also hold the post of academic coordinator for the peer support (PASS) scheme in mathematics.
