Overview

I am a consultant diabetologist with clinical and academic interest in diabetes and wearable technology (continuous glucose monitoring, automated insulin delivery systems). I lead the largest type 1 diabetes technology service in the North West of England and am the Diabetes Transition Lead for the Greater Manchester Strategic Clinical Network (SCN).

My research is primarily focused on the clinical development and clinical testing of novel technologies in diabetes, the study of human-factor interaction with devices and software, and impact of diabetes technology on clinical outcomes.
