Overview

Iain Donaldson is the Research Administrator for the Manchester Self-Harm Project in the Centre for Suicide Prevention where he has worked since October 2002.

His roles include maintaining the project website, general aminitrative and secretarial duties, data collection, dissemination of information and database development and data collection.

Biography

Prior to joining the MaSH team in 2002 Iain worked for 9 years in the University of Manchester Central Finance Office , and 10 years in life and pensions administration.

Social responsibility

Iain's voluntary experience (much concurrent with his working for the University of Manchester) include 19 years as an elected member of Manchester CIty Council, 10 years as a school Governor.  Iain also served seven years as a Trustee of a community charity, and has been involved in helping found and manage numerous community groups and campaigns.
