Research interests
My research focuses on territorial governance and policy. Research on regional policy and institutional change has included work on inter-city networking and supra-regional policy, as well as projects on the Atlantic Gateway and the Northern Powerhouse initiatives. I have also published widely on city-regional governance and policy, exploring in particular the experiences of the Manchester city-region.
