Overview
English and American Studies PhD candidate at the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures. My project explores representations of malaise within Middle Eastern literature and specifically focusses on the development of globalization, capitalism and modernity within the context of Energy humanities and Petrocultures. My areas of interest are American foreign policy, postcolonial literature and marxist theory.
