Overview

I am a Postgraduate Researcher and Senior Tutor at the Manchester Institute of Education, MIE. I am interested in the sociology of education and social networks in education.

My doctoral research project is on inter-organisational school networking, mainly focused on understanding how schools relate to others and the opportunities for support and collaboration between schools in contexts of school privatisation, competition, and individual accountability.

I have worked as a researcher in school education for several years, gaining experience in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research and evaluating school policies and programmes as part of commissioned research projects.
