Personal profile
Overview
I am a Ph.D. student at the Manchester Institute of Education (MIE). My interests are in school education policies, school-networking, inequalities in the Chilean school system, the evaluation of education policies and programmes, and the application of mixed methods in studies in education.
My current research project is focused on understanding how schools relate to each other, the opportunities for support and collaboration between schools in contexts of school privatisation, competition, and rigid schemes of individual accountability.
I have worked as a research assistant at the Centro de Políticas Comparadas en Educación (CPCE), Universidad Diego Portales and as a researcher at the Centro de Estudios de Políticas y Prácticas en Educación (CEPPE), Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
