Personal profile

Overview

I am a Research Associate and Patient and Public Involvement Lead in the NIHR Greater Manchester Primary Care Patient Safety Translational Research Centre. I work across projects in the centre with a focus on patient safety research in marginalised groups.

I am based in the Centre for Primary Care, where I also co-facilitate and co-ordinate a Patient and Public Involvement panel called PRIMER (https://sites.manchester.ac.uk/primer/)

I have worked on multiple research studies at the university of Manchester. My research interests are on behaviour change interventions, working with marginalised populations, patient and public involvement and co-production. The topic of my PhD was to develop a behaviour change intervention to increase physical activity in people with depression and long term physical health conditions such as diabetes. I completed my PhD in 2021.
