Overview

Jaheeda is a pharmacist by background and currently an NIHR-ARC DEM-COMM Fellow, funded by the NIHR and Alzheimer’s Society, based in the Division of Nursing, Midwifery, and Social Work at the University of Manchester. She holds a PhD in Pharmacy and an MSc in Clinical Research. Jaheeda joined the University of Manchester in October 2022. Prior to this, she worked at the Universities of Exeter and Strathclyde.

Research interests

Jaheeda is a mixed-methods researcher, and her work focuses on improving patient safety and quality of life of older, vulnerable populations, with a particular emphasis on the safe and effective use of medicines in these groups.
