Overview
I am interested in the global history of modern Britain. I am also interested in the history of race, space, and everyday life.
My PhD project utilises space as a central analytical tool to observe how understandings of race, difference, and belonging were configured and contested in and across the different spaces - in particular, educational spaces - of Post-war Manchester.
I teach on a variety of undergraduate courses, as well as conducting a vast amount of widening participation work
