Personal profile
Biography
I am a MRC-funded PhD student in Cancer Sciences within the Experimental Oncology group. My research, supervised by Dr Ayse Latif, investigates the role of monocarboxylate transporters in tumour metabolism and epigenomics. My past research experience includes working with high-throughput CRISPR screening technology for drug target discovery in the lab of Dr Ralph Neumüller, Boehringer Ingelheim RCV. During the master's degree, I have been actively involved in the lab of Dr Jorge Barriuso at the The Christie NHS investigating the spatial composition of immune microenvironment in colorectal cancer using novel spatial transcriptomics technology for biomarker discovery.
