Personal profile

Overview

My research lies at the intersection of particle physics, cosmology and astrophysics. Much of my work has focussed on astroparticle probes of fudnamental physics, including superradiance, neutron stars, and axion/ALP dark matter. I also work on high-frequency gravitational waves and am especially interested in tabletop experiments to detect both gravitational waves and axions. I am actively involved in varoius experimental proposals with members of the Photon Science Institute, Particle Physics and Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics. As part of these endeavours, I am Theme Lead for Quantum Technologies for Fundamental Physics (QTFP) which forms part of the newly established Centre for Quantum Science and Engineering (CQSE) at the Univeristy of Manchester.
