Overview

I completed my BSc at Harper Adams University, before completing my MRes Clinical Sciences at Liverpool University, working primarily on physiological indicators of health in animals. I then managed a small veterinary orthobiologics company between 2015 - 2018, before moving into Higher Education lecturing (equine and canine degrees) at UCR between 2018 - 2021, and holding the position of Programme Leader for equine and canine degrees in 2021, before starting my BBSRC funded PhD project at the University of Manchester in September 2021. I additionally gained a PGCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education in 2021, and I am a Fellow of the HE Academy.

Since 2020, I have been an Academic Member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors, and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Since 2021, I have additionally acted as Knowledge Transfer Officer for the Saddle Research Trust.
