Dr. Jo Cartwright is a lecturer in Marketing and Branding in the School of Materials and teaches on a number of units on the BSc fashion business programmes and also supervises MSc dissertation students. She also supervises PhD students in the field of retailing and marketing.
Jo Has recently achieved her PhD from The University of Manchester having focused on Women's consumption of retailer Christmas advertising as the basis of her thesis. Prior to working here Jo had many years of industry experieience. Her area of research has developed from extensive commercial work in the field of marketing, advertising and branding.
Jo is also interested in the field of ageing and consumption and is seeking to develop her work in this field.
