Overview
Jon is a Health Economist working as a Research Fellow in the Health organisation, policy and economics (HOPE) group, within the Centre for Primary Care and Health Services Research. Jon's main focus of research is the primary care workforce and he is currently a quantitative researcher on the NIHR funded project 'Associations between Research Activity and Patient Health Outcomes (ARAPAHO).'
Previous research projects also include the Salford Primary Care Workforce Mapping (SWorDMAP) project which is part of the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) in Greater Manchester and the NIHR funded 'An investigation of the scale, scope and impact of skill mix change in primary care'.
Jon is also involved in the National GP Worklife Survey of GPs in England. This survey, now in its 11th iteration, examines the impact of recent changes in primary care on GPs' work-related satisfaction and stress.
