Research interests
- Cloud microphysics, with emphasis on the formation and development of ice, and its influence on the development of precipitation
- In-situ instrumentation for the measurement of ice particles from aircraft, particularly using imaging techniques
- Active remote sensing of clouds using ground/spaceborne Radar and Lidar
- Impacts of aerosols on cloud properties via acting as Cloud Condensation Nuclei (CCN) and Ice Nuclei (IN)
- Atmospheric aerosol composition
