Judit brings over 30 years of experience in health care to AMBS where she is Programme Co-Director of the International Health Leadership (IHL) Programme and Cohort Director and Tutor in the Elisabeth Garrett Anderson programme commissioned by the NHS Ledership Academy.
Judit's work prior to joining MBS in April 2015 included medical service work as an ENT and Family medicine specialist doctor at the local level in Hungary to management /leadership development and capacity building programmes in low and middle income countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
She has held leadership positions in a range of organizations that include general practice, policlinic /health centre , local /municipal/ government level health services, international NGOs and professional networks at the European level.As a qualified educator in health care she has been developing, conducting, managing and evaluating medical, health and management education programmes in a variety of geographies and policy contexts across Europe and beyond. Judit works with the European Commission as a member of the presitigious External Educational Board of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Health, an Expert Evaluator in the Horizon 2020 programme, the EU Public Health Executive Agency (CHAFEA) and the Irish Research Council; advised the development of a new Medical School at the University or Luxembourg and developed the first online training programme for GPs in Quality improvement in CEE, funded by the Leonardo da Vinci programme of the EU and evaluated the European Health Leadership Programme at INSEAD Business School.
Judit has over 30 years experience in health services operations, management and leadership. Teaching and research interests include: Healthcare leadership and management development and education; International/global health development programming; Medical curriculum development and accreditation; health professional training and development; European public health policy development; Public Health Education and Research programming and evaluation; Transitional country health systems with a focus on low and middle income countries and new member states; Quality Improvement in Primary care
