Personal profile

Overview

I am a qualitative researcher with the Social Care and Society research group at the University of Manchester. My primary interest is on the social care needs of men in prison with dementia or mild cognitive impairment.

Biography:

I graduated with First Class Honours in Psychology from the University of Sheffield in 2021. Following this, I worked clinically as an Assistant Psychologist in an acquired brain injury residential setting. At the start of 2024, I joined the Social Care and Society research group, conducting an initial scoping of the evidence of the digital transformation of social care.

In 2024, I graduated with a Merit in the MSc Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Manchester. Alongside my MSc to present, I am contributing to the DECISION2 project as a Research Assistant. The DECISION2 project explores the feasibility and acceptability of implementing The Dementia and Mild Cognitive Impairment (DECISION) care pathway and training package in two prisons.
