Personal profile

Overview

I am a neurology consultant with a clinical and research interest in Myasthenia Gravis. I completed a PhD entitled "Optimising the Immunosuppressive Management of Myasthenia Gravis" at the University of Manchester.  This examined aspects of the clinical management of patients with myasthenia gravis, as well as examining lymphocyte subsets and complement biology in myasthenia gravis patients with differing severity, and at different stages in their disease and treatment. I now have a fellowship from Manchester Academic Health Sciences Centre to expand my work in Myasthenia, including biomarker discovery, Cochrane systematic reviews, and clinical projects.
