Miss
Kathrine is a practising specialist phamacist at Manchester University NHS Foundation where she specialises in renal medicines and anticoagulation. She provides teaching on the universities renal nurses course and on the postgraduate pharmacy diploma. She also supposts the development of national educational materials as part of the UK Kidney association education committee.
As of September 2020 she is an NIHR clinical doctoral research fellow undertaking a project entitled the PACK study- Prescribing Anticoagulants in Chronic Kidney disease. This project aims to develop a national guideline for both patients and clinicians to support anticoagulant prescribing practice in this field. She is supported by Professor Sandip Mitra, Dr Penny Lewis and Dr Jecko Thachil.
