Overview

As a doctoral student my research interests are using machine learning techniques to predict eye disease, specifically Pathological Myopia. 

Biography

I graduated from The University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Optometry in 2010 and on successful completion of The Scheme For Registration, I became a Member of The College of Optometrists in 2012. I have over ten years experience of working in Optometric Practice, including three years as a resident and several years as a Locum. I became MECs accredited with Cardiff University in 2017 and was awarded with a Professional Certificate in Glaucoma in 2019. I obtained a Master's Degree in Health Research at The University of Stirling in 2021. I currently would like to further pursue my research interests in using artificial intelligence to predict eye disease, during my PhD studies, at The University of Manchester.
