Overview

Kenn is a doctoral researcher at the University of Manchester. His supervisors are Dr Nicole Martin and Prof. Maria Sobolewska. His research examines electoral registration in the UK, particularly the effects of the Individual Electoral Registration reform as well as what changes need to occur to make registration in the UK more inclusive. 

Biography

Kenn obtained an undergraduate degree in Politics with Modern History from the University of Liverpool before achieving a place on a 1+3 Studentship under the NWSSDTP funded by the ESRC at the University of Manchester. He went on to complete an MRes in Democracy and Elections prior to starting his PhD research. 

Prior to his doctoral studies Kenn spent a lot of time working as a musician, releasing a number of records and performing live.
