Personal profile
Biography
I was part of the founding team and Director of the Masood Entrepreneurship Centre (MEC) from 2006 to 2024. MEC is a leading centre of enterprise/entrepreneurship education that has developed a highly regarded suite of taught programmes and activities that encourage students across the University of Manchester to have the confidence to develop innovative ideas.
I have also established and managed a number of companies and have a strong connection to the Manchester region having been a senior member of the team at Trafford Park Development Corporation. I have a science and technology background with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Chemistry.
My particular interests are in the applied areas of enterprise and entrepreneurship learning, business start-up, business innovation and customer-led marketing.
