Overview

Laura Cottey currently works as an Emergency Medicine Doctoral Research Fellow looking at mitochondrial optimisation in trauma and haemorrhagic shock. She recently led a national collaborative study looking at the need for recovery in Emergency Medicine physicians and has completed research projects in emergency supplemental oxygen use in military patients and patient consent in pain studies. She has a keen interest in medical leadership and management, with an MSc in Leadership for the Health Professionals.
