From 2018-2019 I worked as a research assistant for Bradford NHS (Born in Bradford project), to support work on a feasibility randomised controlled trial of a language intervention for 2-year-olds (Outcomes of Talking Together: Evaluation and Results (oTTer)).
Following this from June 2019-May 2021 I worked as a Trial Support Officer at York Trials Unit (YTU), assisting multiple studies including including education intervention trials (RCTs; ABRA, Lexia and Maths Champions II) and outcome measure development (EEF SciTest). As well as mental health intervention trials; Managing Multiple Health Conditions in Older Adults (MODS) and BASIL (Behavioural Activation in Social IsoLation, BASIL, COVID-19 Urgent Public Health programme of work).
From May 2021 to September 2022 I worked as a Research fellow (Trial Coordinator) at YTU on BASIL, MODS and Community-based Behavioural Activation Training (ComBAT).
I am currently a PhD Researcher at the University of Manchester, working as part of the Passport to Success trial. As part of my PhD I will look at loneliness, and the development of interventions in children and adolscents. I am also interested in exploring mental health and wellbeing in this population relating to loneliness.

My interests are in loneliness, young people’s mental health and wellbeing, with a focus on school-based interventions. As well as trial methodology.
