Overview

Lauren is a specialty training doctor in renal medicine currently working at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She is undergoing a MD at the University of Manchester in outcomes associated with small vessel vasculitis. Her research interests include outcomes associated with ANCA associated vasculitis, in particular the effects of glucocorticoids on clinical outcomes as well as patient reported outcomes and quality of life measures. Lauren has a specific interest in PROMs and health related quality of life assessment tools and their implication in clinical practice.

In addition to her research interests and Lauren is actively involved in several vasculitis groups and is a board member for the European Renal Association Young Nephrology Professionals.

Lauren is part of the Greater Manchester Academic Nephrology Network and her research project has been accepted on the portfolio of MAHSC Inflammation and Repair Domain, Health Innovation Manchester.
