Biography

Linqing Xia is a PhD student in the Sociology Department at the University of Manchester under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Welch and Alison Browne. She received her master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Manchester in 2021. Her doctoral research mainly focuses on the teleoaffective formations of sustainable consumption in relation to China’s postmodern consumer culture.
