Biography

I joined the Higher Education (HE) sector in 1993 following 9 years working across the public and private sector in areas as diverse as the welfare system, financial services and manufacturing. I began my career in HE supporting knowledge exchange activity across the Health, Psychology and Law disciplines. Following this I worked across a range of technology transfer, regional, business engagement and volunteering projects. I moved into Research Management in 2004 and have been the Head of Research Services at the University of Manchester since 2011.
