Overview

After studying at the University of Strathclyde, Lorna McWilliams completed her PhD at the University of Nottingham in 2013. She then spent time in a research lab at the City University of New York and as a behavioural scientist at Food Dudes Health Ltd/Bangor University before joining the Christie Patient Centred Research (CPCR) group at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. In October 2018 she moved to the University of Manchester as Research Associate in the Manchester Centre for Health Psychology and maintains an honorary position within CPCR.

Lorna now works as a Research Fellow and is currently funded by Breast Cancer Now, NIHR and Cancer Research UK.
