Luman Zhou is a PhD candidate at the University of Manchester. My PhD project explores Chinese international postgraduates' conceptualisation, development and application of critical thinking: a longitudinal case study in a UK university. Before PhD, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in China and a master’s degree in 2016 at the University of Manchester, UK. After graduation, I worked as a lecturer in China several years. I devoted all my several years to the frontline of teaching and education practice, and I won many teaching awards to demonstrate my hard work and commitment to my passion field. My doctoral research is closely integrated with practical teaching. I am committed to studying how to integrate abstract Critical Thinking into the specific teaching process to benefit students and teachers. I also hope to promote the early development of Critical Thinking in China.
