Overview

I am a demographer and sociologist with a special interest in fertility and family demography. I have joined the Department of Social Statistics as a Lecturer in January 2025.

Biography

Before joining the University of Manchester as a Lecturer, I completed my PhD in Sociology at the University of Oxford.

Prior to moving to the UK, I trained as a demographer at the Center for Development and Regional Planning (Cedeplar) in Brazil, where I was awarded my MSc and developed my research interests in family demography, as well as formal demographic methods.
