Overview
Mariza is a spatial practitioner and researcher. She has worked as an architect in London, Barcelona, Nicosia and Athens, as an editor for online platforms of architecture, and as a lecturer at schools of architecture in the UK and Greece. Her PhD project looks into the entanglement of urban and environmental processes in the making of the built and unbuilt environment in fire-prone forested areas in Greece, with a particular focus on the social, ecological and territorial implications of wildfires.
