Personal profile

Overview

My focus is bioinformatics, software engineering and data science; applying cutting edge software engineering, machine learning, statistical inference methodologies to answer complex biological questions. Work as a Honorary Research Associate in University of Manchester and Senior Bioinformatics data scientist at Wellome Sanger institute. Currently focussing on data analysis gathered by single cell genomic and proteomic methods to provide cutting edge insights in complex human genetics.

I have broad understanding in programming languages, computational biology, proteomics, genomics, regenerative medicine, ageing, software engineering, web-development, text mining, database development. Programming languages I use are: Python, Perl, R, Matlab, Java, Javascript, PHP, HTML5, SQL, Postgres and NoSQL integrating Machine Learning, Deep Learning (Keras, Tensorflow), and other cutting edge approaches such as text mining, web-scrapping and NLP. I have knowledge in full stack webdevelopment integrating ReactJs, Bootstrap, jQuerry, Docker, Nginx, Django, PHP, nodeJS (basic) and Android application development.
I also have experience working in wet lab with techniques such as HPLC, IHC, SDS-PAGE, Mass-Spectrometry, western blot, FT-IR spectroscopy and cell culture.
